I am 25 now and 6'4" tall. I need motivation I guess, but really do want to make some improvements. I have already noted the "crunches" exercises shown here and am also looking into the abs section. My pecs also need working on. Have any other guys found a "best" sorta exercise to gain there?

Patrick "I think the guy pictured top left here has a good build". Perhaps you can gain enough to look more like him? Are you still interested?

How I started and why. (see later)

The sample pic left is a guy of similar height. Most muscle groups are showing very little development in our example pic. Tallboy24 is similar he says, but hasn't given any other stats yet, though his face pic now appears below.

Another Tall Boy. A very skinny one too!

A slim starting point is common for the taller guy. He has a lot of space to fill with muscle though, so will need a very big protein intake. The results can be highly striking though and well worth the effort!

As for "Spikey", who is shorter, but a similar build, the pages here most useful to you are the beginner article, and the one on abs, since that is the area you want to work on first. Bear in mind that there are alternative exercises there. You are NOT expected to do all of them! It is useful to make up an inclined board too for Ab exercises. See Routines page too.

My training history.

I have more recent pics of the guy "David" left. He's actually a movie performer and you usually see even more of him as the more observant members have probably guessed.

Bigger or simply better toned?

The use of weights can have these two effects.
