The pic to the left is a Michelangelo style pose and is an early one of Mark.

This page is the new page featuring Mark Pearce. He trained about 15 years ago I hear, but how far he progressed I have yet to find out. The pics appear to cover several months at least. Use the e.mail link left to submit questions to this site, answers, photos etc.

You seem to interested in the site? A little working out will help you a lot, but don't go for heavy stuff yet, and if you can, find a mate of similar age to train with.

Hi

I have added a short note here for you, but contact me for more info.

Jeremy at 14, not .

The pages most useful to you are the beginner article . Bear in mind that there are alternative exercises there. You are NOT expected to do all of them! It is useful to make up an inclined board too. See Routines page too. You could be doing a very lightweight full body routine for at least the next year before you even consider separate split routines.

There is a section on training without apparatus on the Q&A page.

My training history.

Many have passed off this cheerful pic of Mark as "my pic". Most unfair!

The pic above shows Mark with an EZ bar. This allows a more natural grip as the bar is angled in several ways. As you can see below, he was not very heavy at the time, but was in a good toned condition.

Bigger or simply better toned?

The use of weights can have these two effects.
