How and why I started

I have spent most of my life being around the gym, when I was younger my mum worked as a fitness instructor and I was always in the créche, she was also a bodybuilder a while back.

As my family has always been into fitness and weight lifting, naturally, I started as well although I started properly when I joined Grants Gym where the pro bodybuilder (and a close friend of my mum) Wendy McCready works and trains.

As I progressed I told her I was interested in competing and so she gave me a diet and a training program and I am currently working on that.

Bodybuilding has become an addiction for me. So as I progress on and on I become happier with my body and the way I look. It boosts self confidence and it is great to look at the results of something you have worked hard for.

Really life is too short to be small. I am hoping to compete in future and basically just keep going and see myself get bigger and better.
